6.10.2009 NEW CD!

The UK Legends have been very busy in the studio recording a new album which will feature 12 of the songs we perform at our concerts ....... PLUS a 'brand new' original song which is due for release in Europe for Xmas 2009 and will also be available for download from this website.
It's release will be announced here in UKL News

The UK Legends would like to thank all of their promoters and fans for their continued support throughout 2009.
We still have many more concerts to do before the end of this year in Poland, UK , Lithuania, Norway and Belgium, and we also have many concerts confirmed for 2010 including Bahrian, USA and Russia so we hope to see you in your town soon

5.5.2009 NEW FOR 2009

Yes that’s right! We have some new members in the line up of the UK LEGENDS for 2009

The UK LEGENDS now feature;
Ex SOUNDS OF SMOKIE frontman and TV star BERNIE LOWERY
Ex THIN LIZZY ace guitarist GRAHAM HUNTER
and from the CHRIS REA BAND ace percussionist ADIE EVANS
Along with Martin and Stevie this is the new UK LEGENDS line up.

PLUS on selected shows we will also now be featuring Ex SMOKIE original guitarist ALAN SILSON as a special guest!
Alan will be performing all of Smokie’s major hits as well as Alan performing his very own 'mega' hit song
‘WHAT CAN I DO’.
Alan’s involvement with The UK LEGENDS is a great enhancement to the show.

We will also be featuring some other very special guests on The UK LEGENDS concerts over the coming months

10.05.2009 BYDGOSZCZ JK FESTIVAL

Our first show with the new line up premiered at the JK Festival in Bydgoszcz and it was a huge success.

We would like to thank everybody who attended the festival and would like to give special thanks to all of the organisers and sponsors of the event.
You were all great and we look forward to returning to Bydgoszcz again very soon.

In 2009 we are back touring Europe again. We are also currently arranging tours for Scandinavia, Germany, Russia, USA and Australia.

2008 was a great year for the UK LEGENDS in Europe.
One of our highlights in 2008 was to perform live on TV with the famous Polish band Iche Troje. The show was broadcast live thoughout Poland and even reached the UK via SKY's Polish channel.
Our other highlight was for us to be invited to perform on the 'Miss Intercontinental' beauty contest which was broadcast live on TV to more than 100 countries woldwide!
Many thanks to the agents, promoters and fans who made 2008 a year we won't forget !

28th JUNE 2007 WROCLAW
Our concert was in yet another impressive building. It was the ‘Public Hall’ in Wroclaw. This amazing building was apparently built or used by Hitler to address his following and was designed to be bomb proof. Unfortunately it was not waterproof as we had water leaking into the dressing room. Once again we played to a full house. Check out some of the new pics in our gallery.

27th JUNE 2007 KRAKOW
We played at the Halle ‘Wisla’ in Krakow usually used as a sporting arena. The audience arrived early ready for a great concert.

26th JUNE 2007 KIELCE
We played at the amphitheatre ‘Kadzielnia’ in Kielce. It was set in incredible rocky surroundings, which was actually a disused quarry and is now a nature reserve. Half way through the set the wind picked up and the heavens opened and everybody ran for cover, but we still played on.

OUR SECOND VISIT TO POLAND IN 2007
OK, so you need to get a Marshall 4x12 to Poland but don’t want to pay a shipping company a lot of money to get it there. Is it possible that you could take it with you as normal check in baggage on the plane?
Well the answer is yes, because we actually did it although it was very Spinal Tap! Unfortunately we didn’t get a picture of it as it came out onto the baggage carousel!

8th MARCH 2007 LODZ’

After a short (4 hour) drive from Poznan (and a couple of goulash stops) we arrived in Lodz where yet another 10,000 screaming fans welcomed us on stage. Many thanks to everyone who came to see us.

7th MARCH 2007 POZNAN ARENA

A 10,000 strong crowd welcomed us at the Poznan Arena as we started the 1st leg of our 2007 tour of Poland, complete with a 100K PA, lights and video production. It was great to be back in Poland and to meet lots of our old friends and fans from the past. After the show we were treat to a banquet meal with some of Poland’s leading ministerial dignitaries!

DECEMBER 2006 'SPODEK' KATOWICE

The UK LEGENDS have just completed the first leg of their tour of Poland. They finished off with a blistering performance to over 17,500 Polish fans at the prestigious 'Spodek' venue in Katowice.
The UK LEGENDS will be back in Poland in March for the second leg of their Polish tour
